Nicolae Catrina (Adinathananda) is a yoga teacher with over 30 years of experience.
More than two decades ago, he founded the only Kashmiri Shivaism course in Europe, which offers in a unique way, adapted to the Western mentality, thousands of students from Romania and other countries around the world, the richness and depth of this spiritual tradition.
His deep interest in various forms of authentic spirituality and his spiritual intuition helped him to develop over time a number of other introductory courses, including Tantric Alchemy, Enneagram, or Esoteric I Ching. He also devised a unique system for the revelation of the Self-Essence, Atman, a system characterized by a supramental – but also very accessible – approach to the revelation of the Self (including through enlightening aesthetic experience), which has already helped thousands of aspirants to important steps towards discovering their essential nature.
He is the author of several books on Shivaism, Yoga, Tantra, alchemy, initiatory art, etc. Being a good connoisseur of Sanskrit, he translated several important yogic and tantric texts, such as Saundaryalahari, Shiva Samhita or Gheranda Samhita. Exclusively for his Shivaism courses, he offers in a unique translation many traditional esoteric works, such as Shiva Sutra, Spanda Karika, Vijnana Bhairava Tantra, etc., as well as the profoundly transformative practical knowledge that is contained in them.
